Asian handicap
A handicap gives one team a head start in goals to even out the match. On a half-goal line such as -0.5, there is no draw: your team must win. On a whole-goal line such as -1, your stake is returned if the team wins by exactly one goal. Quarter lines such as -0.25 split your stake across the two nearest lines, so half the bet can win or lose while the other half is returned.
Over/under
Bet on whether the total goals will be over or under a line, for example 2.5.
Odd/even
Bet on whether the total number of goals will be odd or even. Check the market rules for how a goalless match is settled.
Half-time/full-time
Predict the result at half-time and full-time together, such as draw/home. Both parts must be right.
Reading the odds
- Decimal: your total return for each 1 staked, stake included. At 1.90, a stake of 10 returns 19.
- Hong Kong: your profit for each 1 staked, stake not included. 0.90 in Hong Kong odds equals 1.90 in decimal.
- Malay: a positive price works like Hong Kong odds. A negative price such as -0.80 means you win an amount equal to your stake, and lose 0.80 of it if the bet loses.
- Indonesian: a positive price such as 1.50 is the profit per 1 staked; a negative price such as -1.50 is what you stake to win 1.
