Zeus presides over a grid of six reels and five rows. There are no paylines: a spin pays when eight or more of the same symbol land anywhere on the screen. Winning symbols then vanish, the rest fall, and new ones drop in from above, so one spin can pay several times. Multiplier symbols can appear during a spin; when the tumbles stop, their values are added together and applied to that spin's win. In free spins, which start when enough scatter symbols land, the multipliers from winning tumbles go into a total that keeps building until the round ends.

Sweet Bonanza

Pay anywhere

Games such as Gates of Olympus go further: position does not matter at all. The game counts how many of each symbol are on the screen, and enough of one symbol pays, even if they are spread to every corner. Larger counts pay more.

Tumbles

Every win clears its symbols and makes room for new ones. The chain continues while new wins form, and its wins add up. The whole chain costs your one stake, but it can still add up to less than you paid.

Multipliers and volatility
